Engineering at Figma

  1. 2026

    Figma Motion

I worked on translating animations made on the Figma canvas into code that AI agents can read.

  2. 2025

    Figma Sites

I built core editing features like breakpoints, which let one design adapt to desktop, tablet and phone.

  3. 2023

    Multi-edit

During my 2023 internship, I built the core implementation of multi-edit for Figma’s design editor and prototyped editing several frames at once. That prototype was an early step towards editing breakpoints in Figma Sites.

  4. 2022

    FigJam cursor chat

For FigJam’s first birthday, I built keyword detection for cursor chat, plus text effects that bring certain words to life. I also worked on some other improvements and got named on the cursor chat patent.

  5. 2020

    Ontario’s COVID-19 sites

At the Ontario Digital Service, I built data visualizations and pages for the province’s COVID-19 site, which had 1.25 million views in its first week.

  6. Side quest2024

    WHEREable

WHEREable is a capstone prototype that I built in a team with other SYDE students in my class. It uses microphones and a Raspberry Pi to pick out sudden sounds like car horns, and a haptic belt that buzzes to show people with hearing loss which direction the sound came from.

  7. Side quest2020

    Six Degrees of Spotify

A site I designed and built to trace how any two artists connect through their collaborations and show that six degrees of separation holds up in music too.
